The Writer

I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember — in both English and Arabic. Whether it's poetry, short stories, or reflective prose, I use words to explore identity, emotion, and everyday moments. My published book, The Purple Lighter, is a collection of short stories that center ordinary people in extraordinary ways.

The Designer

My work in the hospitality and business world inspired me to build better digital experiences — first for others, and now as a growing freelance designer. I build user-friendly websites and dashboards, especially for small businesses, with a focus on clarity, storytelling, and ease of use.

My creative journey is rooted in the beauty of everyday moments and fueled by a vivid imagination. I find meaning in both the bustling rhythm of daily life and the quiet stillness of introspection — and my writing often reflects this duality. Growing up with Arabic and English as dual lenses has given me the ability to express emotion and nuance across languages, whether through poetry, prose, or personal storytelling. When I’m not creating, I draw inspiration from music, nature, and the rich cultural mosaic that surrounds us.
